Violet

Violet creates worlds you want to live in & characters you want to know personally in her artwork. She has an imagination that knows no bounds when it comes to telling a visual storytelling. She sets a scene & draws out immense depth through character development with carefully curated detail in each piece. Using bright, vibrant colors in her illustrations with dynamic line variation — her graphic style reflects her own bold, charismatic & vivacious personality in every work of art!

Violet is inspired by her mother, Lenny, whom of which is a professional artist by trade. She is always motivating her (& her twins sister, Rose!) to create & be unapologetically themselves. Whether it is using her own emotions to express herself through her art or using influence from the world around her, Violet has an innate need to draw & create everyday, sometimes illustrating several pages of artwork/sketches a day to get ideas out. She is also inspired by storybook art & comics/cartoons.

Violet loves to illustrate, using a mixed media approach to her work. Which includes but is not limited to pen/ink, colored pencil, fine art markers, watercolor &/or acrylic paint as well as paint markers. Experimenting occasionally with glitter, glue & other textural elements.
