Tell us about Tiger's artwork.

Tiger is a self-taught artist. Tiger is a master with a pen, and draws better if he does not have the crutch of a prelim sketch. He can draw ANY cartoon character. He has his own characters, led by TAT and Rocket (his service dog). When your name is Tiger, you draw Tigers, that's where TAT came from. He has been showing at the biggest comic-cons in the USA since age 8. Tiger mastered drawing upside down at 9, and acrylic pop art paintings at 10.

Who or what inspires Tiger to create?

Tiger was first inspired to draw by Disney Silly Symphony cartoons. He doesn't tell us his inspirations, but he is always thinking about art. He loves seeing what others can do, and then doing it himself. He loves making animations. Tiger loves to draw anything that makes him laugh. When we hear that laugh, we ask if he wants to draw, and he heads into the studio. He loves being challenged and he can draw over and over until it is perfect. His talent is hyperfocus and hard work, not drawing.

What is Tiger's favorite art form?

Animation. Everything Tiger does is geared toward animation, whether it is studying drawing/animation, watching drawing/animation videos, making animations. Often you will see Tiger drawing in the air. He doesn't say what he is drawing, and if you ask him, he will "erase" it. To Tiger, the world is a large animation studio, where he is in control. His ideas are rather abstract, so we parents try to keep him grounded in mainstream animation. We hope to make cartoons featuring TAT and Rocket soon.
