Theo doesn’t make art—he lives it. Fearless creativity, big ideas, every creation shows who he is and how he sees the world.
Thank you for supporting Theo in this year's competition. Your participation made a huge impact for Blood Cancer United and their mission to cure blood cancer and improve the quality of life of all patients and their families.
Theo is primarily a drawer. He loves creating zines and handmade books that combine his artwork with short stories. While he has explored other mediums—like clay, sculpting, and painting—he always finds his way back to drawing as his preferred form of expression.
Who or what inspires Theo to create?Theo is inspired by his own imagination and the stories he carries inside his head. He draws inspiration from the books he reads, the shows and games he loves, music, and the world around him—often turning everyday moments into characters and adventures. Creating gives him a way to explore ideas, tell stories, and make sense of his experiences.
What is Theo's favorite art form?Theo’s favorite art form is, without question, drawing—100%. His teachers often share that his writing journal is filled with far more drawings than words. Drawing is how he thinks, processes, and tells stories, and it’s the medium he returns to again and again to express himself most fully.
