Tell us about Sabrina's artwork.

Sabrina's art is still evolving. Her art often tells a story, shows her momentary emotion, highlights her relationships and/or places she's visited, and incorporates her imagination through a combination of caricature, anime, and realism. Her art is her diary. Instead of writing in her journal she draws. When looking in the eyes of her drawn characters or by looking at the details on her drawings or paintings, a story (yours or hers) comes to life.

Who or what inspires Sabrina to create?

Sabrina's art love took off during the COVID pandemic. She was 4 years old when she was introduced to the YouTube channel "Art for Kids Hub" by Rob Jensen - spent hours learning techniques and ultimately became obsessed with drawing. She was gifted a book on how to draw anime and was inspired to create her own anime characters and her own book. More recently she was captured visiting Museo Picasso Malaga then Van Goh's Starry Night at Museum of Modern Art in New York brought her to tears.

What is Sabrina's favorite art form?

Sabrina's current favorite art form is drawing and sketching, but this is ever changing. She usually begins with a pencil for sketching and finalizes her pieces with paint, paint markers, oil pastels, or just pencils. When drawing characters, she favors a combined form of caricature, anime, and realism. She likes to play with proportions to showcase a detail in order to express the emotion or meaning of her art piece.
