Learn MoreSaara’s artwork is intuitive and sensory. She began painting at 18 months before learning color names, so color for her is a feeling rather than a label. She is 6 now and in kindergarten. Her paintings often emerge through layering, movement, and exploration rather than planning. She enjoys experimenting with how colors change on different surfaces and papers. Art is a space where she expresses what she notices, feels, and imagines, without trying to make things “right” or realistic.
Who or what inspires SAARA to create?Saara is inspired by her surroundings, her inner feelings, and the simple joy of noticing color, texture, and movement. She is drawn to how paint behaves on a blank surface and how colors interact with one another. Creating art helps her slow down and respond to what she sees and senses in the moment.
What is SAARA's favorite art form?Saara enjoys painting with physical materials such as brushes, paper, and canvas. She prefers hands-on art that allows her to feel the textures of paint and explore color through touch and movement. For her, art is a sensory experience that engages her whole body and imagination.
