Who or what inspires Mila to create?Mila’s earliest and continuing inspiration is Bob Ross, whose gentle teaching created a safe, grounding space where art became safe refuge and nurturer. As she grew, she wondered if any female artists used art as truth and survival. When introduced to Frida Kahlo, Mila felt seen. What is Mila's favorite art form?Painting is Mila’s favorite art form. While she works confidently across many mediums, painting is where she finds peace and safe refuge. She has an intuitive understanding of color theory and loves recreating the colors of the world as she experiences and sees them. To Mila, there are no mistakes in art—only openings to look within and begin again. Holding a paintbrush feels like a dance, turning emotion, movement, and lived experience into something real.
