Maddox’s passions are drawing and painting! Santa brought her a sewing machine, so she is exploring new projects with that. She has also began exploring sculpting and ceramics. She also loves to explore her art through baking and cake decorating. She is an avid member of the Fairview Art Club and frequently takes art classes through the local park district. Maddox was selected as a featured artist in the district wide art show this past year!

Maddox is inspired by joy and the magic of color. Everything she creates aims to put a smile on the viewers face and is a window into her active and playful imagination. She is also inspired by other artists. She recently wrote a story for her class about how she wants to be Frida Khalo for a day. Maddox is also highly inspired by Bob Ross and the lessons she’s learned by watching The Joy of Painting. Art is a place where her anxieties are swept away and she celebrates her creativity.

Maddox loves drawing and is currently working very hard to improve her skills in drawing “anime eyes”. She also loves painting with both watercolors and acrylic paints. Maddox loves to bled her love of science and art when she’s in the kitchen baking with her Mom. She has also recently started to learn how to sew!
