Lydia

Lydia likes to draw her original characters (OCs) in various activities. Most are cats, in the world of Warrior Cats, but she also has a bear and other animals. Most of her artwork is digital, and occasionally animated. She uses procreate primarily. Lydia also creates with colored pencils, markers, acrylics, and paints. In school, Lydia uses art to enhance her assignments. She included a set of character cards with a book report and made a 3D model of a black hole for her inquiry fair project.

Lydia loves the act of creating! She draws nearly constantly, and loves working on new techniques. She also enjoys working with other artists, and has participated in several multi-animator-projects with her friends, where they each make a portion of the final animated video. She loves participating in Art Fight as well, drawing others’ OCs in her style. Finally, she likes making art for others, and has gifted pieces to her grandmother and various teachers.

Lydia enjoys making digital artwork the most, as it is the easiest to work on in nearly every setting - she draws in the car, at appointments, while hanging out at home, between lessons at school, wherever/whenever she is allowed to be on her iPad - as well as the easiest to share with friends. She uses a variety of brush styles and textures and takes advantage of layering. She likes to incorporate natural backgrounds, such as landscapes with various flora and fauna behind a running cat.
