Where trends exist, Lunna still seeks her own creativity and emotion. Creating pieces that anyone could interpret in their own way.
Thank you for supporting Lunna in this year's competition. Your participation made a huge impact for Blood Cancer United and their mission to cure blood cancer and improve the quality of life of all patients and their families.
Lunna strives in discovering various ways to dive deep in color, detail and expression. Focussing on putting complete emotion on to the blank paper or canvas, Lunna is able to create an image that could tell thousands of different stories at once.
Who or what inspires Lunna to create?Although Lunna has always had an adoration for art, someone very close to her heart has always inspired her to continue to pursue it. Someone who she has never met, her late grandfather. Passing due to cancer in 1980, Lunna found a way to connect. By each stroke of a canvas, detail and design, each of them relate through each other’s style. Carrying the generational talent and love for creating in each of their lifetimes, a language they could both communicate and understand. Separated by time.
What is Lunna's favorite art form?Regardless of the timeline, artist, or style, Lunna admires all forms of art where emotion can be found. Looking at a single piece and reading a thousand stories is what makes art so full of life, possibility and wonder. The possibilities are endless where creativity and inspiration lives.
