At just six years old, my daughter Lily is already a force of pure creativity and imagination. Her passion for art lights up our home every single day. Whether she's holding a crayon, a paintbrush, or a handful of markers, Lily approaches each blank page (or wall, or piece of paper she finds) with fearless enthusiasm and endless ideas.

Who or what inspires Lily to create?

Lily is inspired by the beauty and mystery of fantasy. She loves drawing fantastical creatures, colorful dreamscapes, families of smiling animals, and stories she makes up on the spot. Painting is her magic time—mixing colors until she discovers just the right shade of purple-pink sunset or ocean turquoise that exists only in her mind. She doesn't worry about staying inside the lines; for Lily, the lines are just suggestions, and her imagination decides where the real picture lives.

What is Lily's favorite art form?

At an early age, Lily has discovered her truest artistic joy in crafting—the kind of hands-on, tactile creating that lets her build, shape, glue, and transform everyday materials into something entirely her own. While she still loves drawing and painting, crafting has quietly (and then very loudly!) become her absolute favorite way to express her boundless imagination.
