My son had a traumatic accident, almost died & has permanent health issues. He is a fighter & found his voice doing art in the dark.

When he couldn’t play sports, go to school or speak, he learned to use his artwork to communicate. He wasn’t able to control what happened to him but could control the paint brush & how the painting turned out. He focuses on powerful images & animals to convey a feeling of silent strength.
Who or what inspires Ledger to create?Watching Bob Ross with no sound & lights off was what inspired him to start painting. Al Groves, an Utah Native American artist, inspired him to find and convey symbolic meaning in his paintings.
What is Ledger's favorite art form? His favorite art form to look at is Native American quillwork. He thinks if people understood the symbols in it they would find it to be fine art. His favorite to use is acrylic paints on canvas. He likes how he can layer acrylics quickly & how the painting progresses with each layer.
