The dragon made of aluminum soda cans protects the cave filled with trinkets representing the treasure. The trinkets within the cave include things she has personally held on to due to minor hoarding issues caused by ADHD. The piece stands to represent holding on to frivolous things due to the condition but also have her let go and declutter things she held on to.
Who or what inspires Kenyetta to create?One of the main motivators of Kenyetta for create art work is the reactions of others. She loves it when people view her artwork and feel connected to it, whether it's based off of emotions, personal experiences, or aesthetics. The enjoyment from others inspires her to work to bring them joy again. Though viewers are important to her, she is also motivated by her own love of the hobby. She loves to sit in her room and continue to create for enjoyment, even after her art classes.
What is Kenyetta's favorite art form?Kenyetta's favorite art form would have to be sculpture. She enjoys processes that allow her to add small, intricate, and almost unnoticeable details that, when added up, complete an eye-catching work of art. Sculpture allows her hands to work on pieces that have her add minor attributes through all steps of creation: from the foundation, building, and the finishing details, and still have them all be shown to the viewer.
