Tell us about Kennison's artwork.

Kenni creates art when she needs to express feelings. She channels her creativity and imagination to put those feelings into an incredible piece of art. She creates but is not limited to: drawings of animals/creatures, books/short stories, and 3D out of paper.

Who or what inspires Kennison to create?

From Kennison's own words “I think it in my brain and do it” As her mom, Kennison relies on her emotions to guide her artistic ability. When she is sad she will make a story about birds who have lost a love one or friends. When she is happy she will make beautiful 3D rainbows with cotton balls as clouds, or unicorns with yarn hair. The unicorns mane can be multiple pieces with long middle and short hair lengths. She truely is eclectic, creative, and inspires me even as an adult.

What is Kennison's favorite art form?

Art takes on many hats and comes in many shapes, sizes, and colors. I cannot put Kennisons favorite art form in one category alone; therefore, I will say she scrapes the surface of many categories with her plethora of interest. As I have mentioned above, Kenni loves mixed media, drawing, painting, and short stories. She is wildly unique and is willing to share her love of art with others:)
