Tell us about Kaitlyn's artwork.

In my work I like to express the small irregularities in the world by enlarging them, my art is colourful and exaggerated. I paint with bright colours to express what I see and what I think looks cool about what I’m painting. My art is like my own ispy I can make for others to view.

Who or what inspires Kaitlyn to create?

My inspiration mostly stems from what I see in the world from my perspective. Everyone’s perception of something is different, I like to express what I see is different. I also am inspired by nature, I like that all the colours in nature are naturally cohesive.

What is Kaitlyn's favorite art form?

My favourite art form is acrylic. I like how I can layer thin or thick paints to cover and create layers that I can only create with each specific layer.
