Kaitleighs artwork explores emotion, personality, self expression, and mood primarily through portraiture. You can see as she ages and her personality changes or grows her art does the same. She prefers to use expressive emotions as opposed to full realism and she loves to experiment in skin tones, highlighting, shadows, cultures and diversity.

Kaitleigh has always been interested and inspired by many great artist. Her absolute favorite would be Moriah Elizabeth but she’s always drawn to many portrait artist like Johannes Vermeer, Van Gogh, Da Vinci, and Frida Kahlo. More than that though, Kaitleigh is inspired by emotion, personality, diversity and really just the world and its people. She loves being different and unique and is drawn to other people who she feels represent those same qualities.

Kaitleigh’s favorite art forms include expressionism, minimalism, post-Impressionism, cartoon, abstract, surrealism, and primarily illustrative portraiture. Her favorite to create herself is illustrative portraiture but she enjoys creating anything.
