I try to use bold brushstrokes to create a sense of movement and energy in my work, capturing the essence of the subject. The thickness of the paint adds texture and depth, making the artwork come alive. By using large brushes, I simplify the forms and focus on the overall impact. This technique allows me to express emotions and ideas in a raw and powerful way.
Who or what inspires Jenny to create?Watching my dad create art filled me with awe and sparked my own creative desires. His passion for painting was contagious, igniting a fire within me to explore the world through color and form. He taught me the fundamentals and encouraged me to experiment, giving me the confidence to express myself on canvas. His unwavering support and belief in my abilities have been the driving force behind my artistic journey.
What is Jenny's favorite art form?I absolutely love how Impressionism lets me capture the fleeting beauty of light and color its like freezing a moment in time on canvas. The loose brushstrokes and focus on how things feels visually really speak to me and my artistic style. What's even better is that Impressionism throws the rulebook out the window, so I can really play around and find my own unique voice.
