Holden finds and creates art everywhere. Not just in traditional mediums, he finds ways to create and enjoy art everywhere he goes.
Thank you for supporting Holden in this year's competition. Your participation made a huge impact for Blood Cancer United and their mission to cure blood cancer and improve the quality of life of all patients and their families.
Holden loves painting and drawing. He loves arranging things in his environment like leaves or dirt or toys to make designs. He loves to take pictures of his world and treasures his photos. He is happy to color inside the lines and keep things just so, and then other times, he likes to step outside the box and create abstract designs out of something simple. He also is so appreciative of others art, he treasures art that his friends have shared with him and loves watching other people create.
Who or what inspires Holden to create?Holden finds inspiration in his family and events from his life. Like moments of his family sledding, or on vacation. He also loves animals and loves practicing drawing and painting animals and other creatures. He likes to follow step by step instructions at times and learn new techniques but he also loves to create from his own mind and is proud of what he comes up with. He loves gifting art as a way to show friends and family that he cares.
What is Holden's favorite art form?I think this changes depending on the season or what we are doing. He does love painting very much though, and drawing with pencils and markers.
