For Hayden, creating is communicating. He lights up when making art and is genuinely curious about all the forms it can take.

Learn MoreHayden enjoys making many different forms of art. He's especially drawn to perspective work, shading work, colorful landscapes, and stop motion animation. He's intrigued by architecture and the beauty he sees is often parlayed into his drawings. He once designed a Hess toy - detailing the toy within the toy that Hess is so known for. He writes stories accompanied by comprehensive maps with topography, life like plant and animal life and villages or towns where the story is set.
Who or what inspires Hayden to create? He would probably say that I (mom) have encouraged art by integrating it (and music) into daily life from an early age. He also went to museums, galleries, festivals, where he could view art in its many forms. During COVID, museums and architecture spaces worldwide were now OPEN to us via the internet. He went everywhere he could go and loved it. He began, on his own, to increase his daily art time, by a lot! Now inspired can be a thought, a story, a building, a sunset, a movie, anything.
