Hailey loves to show emotional connections in her artwork. Her styles range from portraits, landscapes, and abstract. Art is not only a way to express herself, but also a way for her to learn more about herself, her surroundings, and the people in her life. Recently, Hailey has enjoyed learning about realism and the emotional value of art.

Hailey has always had a passion for art, at times her inspiration comes from the world around her and other times from within her own creative mind. Another inspiration was her middle school art teacher, Mr. Petersen. He gave her honest feedback and helped to to grow as an artist. He always showed genuine appreciation of her artwork, which inspired her to continue creating.

It’s hard to pick a favorite, but she loves sketching with just a pencil. She especially likes realism and drawing portraits. She also loves to watercolor landscapes.
