At nine years old, she already demonstrates an impressive understanding of color theory, intentionally using warm and cool colors to create mood, contrast, and visual balance in her pieces. She especially enjoys working with alcohol markers and acrylic paint markers, which allow her to layer bold colors and create smooth blends, while charcoal gives her the freedom to explore texture, shading, and dramatic contrast.

Hailey is inspired by mythical creatures, especially dragons, and the stories she imagines around them. She’s also inspired by nature’s colors—sunsets, forests, and oceans—which influence her use of warm and cool tones. Exploring new materials like alcohol markers, acrylic paint markers, and charcoal sparks her creativity, and she’s motivated by the joy of turning her ideas into something others can see and enjoy.

Hailey is particularly drawn to creating dragons—often bringing them to life not just on paper, but as interactive dragon puppets that reflect her creativity and storytelling abilities.
