Tell us about Gabriel's artwork.

This is his recreation of Optimus prime’s vehicle made of recyclables, a skateboard, some PVC pipe, spray paint, and some good old-fashioned duct tape. It took him a week to build. He can steer it, and it even has flashlight headlights!

Who or what inspires Gabriel to create?

Gabriel is inspired by his mom who paints and her parents, his grandparents, who are both accomplished opera singers.

What is Gabriel's favorite art form?

Gabriel’s favorite art form is sculpture. The bigger the better! First, he sits down and draws it. Then he sets about creating using just about anything he can find. His motto is ‘one man’s trash is another man’s treasure.’
