Having severe dyslexia reading and writing has been a struggle. Creating art comes easily. It’s a way for her to feel she can do anything.
Thank you for supporting Everly in this year's competition. Your participation made a huge impact for Blood Cancer United and their mission to cure blood cancer and improve the quality of life of all patients and their families.
Everly loves to explore different techniques and methods. If she see’s something she finds interesting she wants to try it herself. She loves projects that are hands on and open to her own creativity. Bright colors and the world around her give her inspiration.
Who or what inspires Everly to create?I love to create things my self. I paint watercolor cards to sell for fundraising for my mission trips. I’ve also done jewelry and wood creations. Everly wants to help and do whatever project I’m doing. But always has to add her on flair to it.
What is Everly's favorite art form?It would be hard to narrow down to one. Painting does seem to be what she is drawn to the most. She has severe dyslexia so a lot of things like reading and writing have been a huge struggle for her. Her creating art comes easily and naturally. Which helps her self esteem and confidence. She just loves anything hands on that she is free to use her imagination.
