Emily’s artwork focuses on attention to details trying to illustrate mood and emotion. She enjoys closely observing references and recreates images to feel lifelike and thoughtful. Her work expresses her internal emotions, using realism as a way to communicate a deeper personal meaning.

Emily is inspired most by nature and the small details within it. Being able to focus on creating textures and light helps her to further observe and understand the world around her. She uses her inspiration around her to not only create beautifully pleasing art, but also attempts to build feelings.

Emily enjoys creating multiple different art forms with materials such as graphite, charcoal, various types of paint, colored pencil, and marker. She enjoys creating detailed pieces with each tool, but specifically loves painting because it allows her to create realistic colors in the image for heavier emotion value and lifelikeness.
