She is a perfectionist, which can lead to frustration, but then she comes back to her art and works until it looks just the way she wants it to. I’ll often call catch her doing little studies of details that then are incorporated into a bigger picture. The results are thoughtful depictions of the people, animals, and places that make up her. Who or what inspires Cosma to create?These days, cats are her muse. She’s always been fascinated by them, and that has been amplified since we got our own cat, Lollipop six months ago. She’s always had a mastery of drawing cartoon cats, but now that she has Lollipop she has been trying to draw more realistic cats, so that she can draw him as accurately as possible. I love her attention to detail but I love seeing her loosen up on perfectionism and finding that great art can come from mistakes made in the process.
What is Cosma's favorite art form?Cosma loves to draw! Drawing calms her down and helps her focus. I try to keep paper and drawing implements on me whenever we are going anywhere. She also has a great eye for photography. When the weather is nice we walk around the neighborhood and she documents with her camera
