Claire absolutely loves painting and watercolor, and enjoys painting with her dad, grandma, and solo. Whenever she has a spare moment she is drawing/sketching/brainstorming a new creative art project. Her walls are covered in paintings and drawings, and her shelves are filled with sculptures. Her Christmas list rarely lists toys - it is always full of art supplies! Her idea of a perfect day is going to the art store and picking out new materials.

She loves to paint landscapes and all things nature. We have a family cabin in the mountains, and that is always a big inspiration for Claire. She loves painting the trees, lakes, and mountains. She also loves the ocean and sunsets, and really gravitates towards calming scenes. When she is looking for a challenge, she has some "art dice" that she can roll that give her different mediums, themes, etc. for her to experiment with.

Claire loves painting with acrylic, and especially watercolor. Her dad and grandma are both very talented at painting, so she has grown up with access to good quality materials that are readily available whenever she is feeling inspired. She also loves to create with clay, making all kinds of sculptures and pottery.
