Charleigh's artwork isn't just in one discipline. Not JUST paint, not JUST sketch, not JUST water color. She utilizes those 3 plus what ever is at hand; whatever suits her fancy or allows her to express her emotion or feeling at that moment. Her artwork can range from the majestic (landscapes) to heartfelt (portraits of loved ones) to fanciful (characters she has created to go in the stories she writes). Some of her artwork is hanging on display at Prairie Community Hospital in Terry, Mt.
Who or what inspires Charleigh to create?Charleigh is naturally creative. She has been inspired by a variety of things. Immediate surroundings, people, animals, the actions of the people or animals, other artists, the weather, etc. Charleigh will routinely say, "I'm going downstairs to [fill in the blank - draw, paint, scuplt etc] if you need me". I'll ask, "what are you going to create?" She answers simply, "Not sure yet...something."
What is Charleigh's favorite art form?Charleigh does enjoy painting. Using the various types, water color, acrylics, oil based, etc. I don't believe she has a favorite, she seems to devote the same amount of time to each.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like America’s Most Artistic Kid, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
