A majority of her art is pencil or pen due to convenience, but when she has time and space, she utilizes all materials and genres. Painting, sculpting, fabric art, collages, clothing design, dance and music as well. She embodies art in all forms.
Who or what inspires Carmela to create?She said “Love” is the inspiration for her artwork per Carmela. She uses her art as to connect to others and show her authentic self. Personal and world experiences provide inspiration.
What is Carmela's favorite art form?It depends on the day. Movement (dance) and pen and paper drawings are done daily. These are as essential as breathing to her.
