Cannan’s artworks often consisted of multi media. She has been deconstruction objects and reconstructing the materials in her own vision since a very young age. Pokemon and character card games ignited a creative adventure in her mind and it’s evolution has been remarkable to watch. She began creating characters with crayons and evolved to markers, pencil sketches and now fine point pens. She has taken character development to the next level by constructed puppets and designed costumes.

Cannan will tell you her ADHD inspires her to create. Sketching / drawing was introduced as a coping strategy for her hyperactivity when in early childhood education program. Cannan would say her emotions, thoughts, fears, anger and joy drive her creations.
