Tell us about Caleb's artwork.

Since he was 4, he would fill up sketchbooks with mind blowing shading techniques and drawings with perspective. He loves drawing to classical musical and makes strokes to the beat of music. It’s fun to watch his joy. His art expresses his passion for making the world a better place. He deeply loves animals & conservation. He loves detailing with shading and highlights. He is currently painting pieces of marine life animals to help people see the beauty of saving the oceans.

Who or what inspires Caleb to create?

As he navigated autism, the world was loud & unknown. Caleb would draw as his calm; his therapy. He was inspired by things that made him happy (trains, Disney, maps). As he grew, art gave him respect with the kids in his school. This gave him some confidence that he is an artist, despite what bullies say. He now uses art to display his passions. He is inspired by nature & animals. He wants to travel the world & rescue animals. He wants to teach art to kids with autism. He wants to save the ocean

What is Caleb's favorite art form?

Caleb has always preferred using a pencil to draw. It’s his favorite since he was four. He loves sketching drawings, especially using his shading. He recently started painting this year, to make his sketches pop with color and display the diverse beauty of the animals and their environments. He paints to the beat of classical music and lets it take him away. Pure joy exudes through whatever medium Caleb chooses that day. It’s a gift and a beauty to watch :)
