Tell us about Byron's artwork.

Byron draws things that he connects with. He draws characters that inspire his creative side. Without training, he uses shapes to create the character's body. He finds an image, real or online, to use as a reference and then lets his creativity guide him. Byron gets inspiration from everywhere. If he connects with it, he draws it. Byron can draw scenery, but his passion is drawing characters and people. He captures their emotions so his drawings tell a story that the beholder can understand.

Who or what inspires Byron to create?

Byron's inspiration comes from within. Byron uses art as a form of stress relief and expression. One day, Byron picked up a pencil and started drawing, and realized he had a natural talent. He gets inspiration from Anime characters, people he connects with, and the environment around him. Byron has always been an introvert but realized he could connect with his peers at school through drawing. Drawing has given him confidence in all aspects of his life. The real driver for his creativity is him.

What is Byron's favorite art form?

Byron is good at all art forms, but his favorite is pencil on paper. Byron enjoys drawing people, particularly from a 3/4 perspective. He uses shadows for emphasis and emotional expression. Byron starts with outlines, uses his fingers for scaling, and lets the artwork take shape in a natural way. He has a natural ability to use contrasted colors using only a graphite pencil and an eraser. His characters take shape organically, with little forethought. It is like the pencil is guiding itself.
