My child Ara Storm says “my art makes me happy” and so, even when her work explores pain and darkness, it’s rooted in pure love.
Thank you for supporting Ara in this year's competition. Your participation made a huge impact for Blood Cancer United and their mission to cure blood cancer and improve the quality of life of all patients and their families.
Ara says “I like to draw both cartoons & realistic things. And sometimes aspectos of both of those things combined. Recently I have been drawing fanfics of Dandy’s World, the video game on Roblox that I am into.”
Who or what inspires Ara to create?Ara says “I’ve been inspired to draw every day to show new drawings or comics to my friends to make them smile and even laugh. And sometimes I show my art to my family (usually when my mom asks).”
What is Ara's favorite art form?Ara says “I’ve been into drawing cartoon mostly but sometimes I give them realistic aspects to the cartoons like shading and texture that make them more real. I’ve recently been using acrylic markers that give pop to my drawings.”
