Aliyah uses her storytelling abilities in order to make her work worth noticing. With every stroke there is intention. In each sculpture there is purpose. To Aliyah, art simply cannot be without purpose. Aliyah has a unique taste of dark themes but it is not for aesthetic. Her artwork is to evoke emotion from her audience, and this quality makes her artwork especially compelling. Her need to preserve her existence is apparent with her art as she gives people a reason to learn more about her work

While Aliyah has many figures in her life that could inspire her, not just one person does the job. It is people as a whole, that truly keep her going. Her curiosity for others fuels her art, and as she continues to learn about the people around her, she creates new artwork inspired by their personalities, their fears, their discomforts. She sees people as both a whole and as individuals. With their unique flaws and attributes she uses these to inform her work to make her stories unique.

Aliyah enjoys to create digital art and work traditionally with pen. On occasion she pursues other medias in order to further share her stories.
